Tenterfield Terrier.

Hi, everybody, this is my favourite animal it is a dog called the Tenterfield Terrier. When you look at the slide all the information will be there.

Kia ora Jake! Thank you for sharing your slides with us. I can see why you like Tenterfield Terriers - they have a lovely face and great ears! Lovely to see photos of you and Boston.
Teacher tip: before posting check that you have all of the capital letters you need (for names of people, places and headings). e.g Australia, Tenterfield Terriers

Hi Jake, thank you for sharing with us your love of Tenterfield Terriers. Their face and size reminds me a bit of the Fox Terrier. Growing up, we had a Fox terrier called Dexter. He was a very clever dog who knew how to do lots of tricks - playing the piano was one of them. Is Boston know any tricks?

About Me

Hi, my name is Jake and I am a student at Owairaka District School. The class that I am in is Room 8 I am a Year Six this year. Next year I will be at Intermediate, and I will be at Avondale Intermediate with my friends Cole and Floyd. I live in Auckland and share a house with my mum, dad, sister and two guinea pigs. My hobbies are playing rugby and soccer. I also like playing my Xbox. As a learner, I am good at typing, reading and maths. The things I struggle with are working by myself and staying on task. My goal for this year is to get faster at typing. I want to aim for about 55 words per minute. I also want to make a goal of staying on task and working more independently. I am looking forward to my rugby season starting because it is the sport that I play and that keeps me fit. I am also looking forward to seeing my friends and family after the lockdown.
